Package Design Lovers' Surprise Gift Box

I really love great package design and even find myself purchasing things solely for the package alone! For this swap we will pay homage to the great package design!

You are to find 3 great examples of package design. Maybe you have some interesting boxes laying around the house (from food, perfume, electronics, etc.). You may either send your partner the 3 packages with something different inside or the original item or a mix. For example, you may have a really great Altoids tin leftover from who knows what. In it, you put an ATC inside. The contents of the packages are a surprise. Is it the original item, or something different?

Please try to find really good examples. They can be vintage or new. Gift items inside can be original contents or something handmade, used, new- whatever as long as it is something you think your partner would like. Here are some examples:

• Individually wrapped candies inside an old perfume box
• A collection of pens and markers inside a round tea tin
• A deck of unique playing cards inside an interesting band-aid box
• A package of soba noodles in a fancy chopsticks box

The goals of this swap are:

A) To find GREAT examples of package design B) To surprise your partner

I think all swaps are better when the sender takes into consideration the receivers' profile. Even if you find your examples of package design now, please at least consider the contents after you know who you are sending to.
