Calming Waters

                               ***US ONLY***

I live along the shore of Lake Michigan, and I LOVE the soothing effect of the water. On a clear night, we walk out the pier to the lighthouse and sit and stare at the stars, surrounded by darkness and the sound of gently lapping water. Or on a beautiful sunny day, we'll take a drive along the lakeshore and see glimpses of great sparkling blue expanse that just takes your breath away. Even on a windy stormy day, the water becomes a writhing angry mass of gray that is almost poetic. As you may have guessed, I enjoy my lake! Actually, I love any water, a babbling brook, a warm spring rain or grumbling thunderstorm, the salty ocean.
