Description:

Let's start with a simple, one-piece paper doll that we can use as a bookmark if we like.

HERE is the template we will use.

(We won't include the mermaid tail or wings, just the basic body shape for this first go 'round. If this idea is popular, we will have a lot more freedom in the next swap.)

Your doll should be approximately 6-8” long and flat enough to not damage book pages.

There's a small challenge: This is sender's choice so you may make the doll in any style you like --- funky, silly, sophisticated, punk, steampunk, fantasy, girly, childish, etc. --- but you must use a photo image of your own face for its face. Scanned or printed is fine, it doesn't have to be an original photo. These give you an idea of how to use your face photo:

Please have fun with this and just do your best - we all have to start somewhere! (";)
